πŸŽƒ October Budgeting: Let's Make Magic Happen! πŸŽƒ

We've all been there, the end of the month rolls around and we're left wondering, "Where did all our money go?"

Hello Super Moms! πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦πŸŒŸ

First things firstβ€”if you want to learn about how to earn while walking, scroll to the bottom of the page.

We've all been there, the end of the month rolls around and we're left wondering, "Where did all our money go?" Well, let's take a moment to pat ourselves on the back because September was a solid month for us! πŸ’ͺ

Yes, we had our ups and downs, we may not have had a perfect budgeting month, but hey, perfection is overrated, isn't it?

We're here to celebrate progress, not perfection. The great news is that we're ready to roll up our sleeves, learn from our experiences, and adjust our budgeting game plan for October. πŸπŸ’°

If you're new to budgeting or haven't tried it before, let's start with a simple and effective strategy known as the 50/30/20 rule.

1️⃣ 50% for Needs

This includes all your essentials like rent/mortgage, groceries, utilities, etc. These are the non-negotiables, the things we simply can't do without.

2️⃣ 30% for Wants

Now, this is where we can have a little fun! This category covers things like dining out, new clothes, or that pumpkin spice latte you've been craving. Remember, it's okay to treat yourself, you've earned it!

3️⃣ 20% for Savings

This is your financial safety net. Whether it's for an emergency fund, a vacation, or your child's education, this portion of your budget is all about planning for the future.

Now, if you're juggling debt (and let's face it, many of us are), I recommend tweaking the formula just a bit to a 50/20/20/10 rule.

1️⃣ 50% for Needs: (Same as above)

2️⃣ 20% for Wants: A slight reduction here allows us some wiggle room to address our debts.

3️⃣ 20% for Paying Off Debt: This is your golden ticket to financial freedom. Consistently chipping away at your debt can lead to big wins down the road.

4️⃣ 10% for Savings: Even while paying off debt, it's crucial to continue saving. Every little bit helps!

Remember, budgeting is a journey, not a destination. It's about making small, sustainable changes that add up over time. So, let's embrace October with open arms and wallets, ready to tackle whatever comes our way! πŸ’ΌπŸ’΅

Stay tuned for the final September budget coming next week. Until then, keep shining, keep smiling, and keep being the amazing moms you are! πŸ’–

πŸ’‘ Earn While You Walk?

This week, I discovered this app where you can earn money by just walking.

Yes, you read that right.

You can earn money by staying active.

This app is called Sweat where you can sync with your Health app to count the steps you have recorded on your smartphone. The steps will be converted into Sweat coins which then you can accumulate to exchange with cash.

You can invite anybody who has a smartphone so you can stay active together and earn money together.

If you are interested in trying out this app (wala naman mawawala di ba?), you can click the button below.
