🍏 Health: Building a Stronger, Happier You

Health is not just about the absence of illness; it's about feeling energetic, strong, and vibrant. This year, I'm committed to making health a priority, and I invite you to join me on this journey. Here are my personal health goals for 2024, and I hope they inspire you to set your own:

Consistency in Morning and Evening Routines 

Every day is a new opportunity to nourish our bodies and minds. My morning routine is my sacred time to set the tone for the day. It includes taking care of my adorable Peanut (🐢), brushing my teeth, tackling a small chore like washing 5 dishes (because small wins matter!), drinking apple cider vinegar for that zing of health, hyperhydrating to kickstart my metabolism, journaling to plan my day, indulging in some reading, walking Peanut, and either going for a run or doing CrossFit. πŸŒ…

In the evening, it's all about unwinding and reflecting. Yoga has become my sanctuary, helping me to stretch out the day's stresses and center my thoughts. πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈI also try to do a bit of reading before jumping into watching some shows to really pull away from my work. Plus, Malaya always look forward to watching movies before bed.

Daily Health Rituals 

Health is built on the little things we do every day. For me, this includes fasting for 12 hours daily to give my digestive system a rest, aiming for at least 7 hours of sleep to rejuvenate my body and mind, hitting 10,000 steps to keep active, and drinking at least 1 liter of water to stay hydrated. πŸ’§πŸ‘Ÿ

This year is about challenging my limits. By the end of March, I aim to do an unassisted pull-up - a true test of strength and perseverance. By June, I'm setting my sights on holding a handstand unassisted, a blend of balance and power. Come September, I'll be walking on my hands, and by the end of 2024, I'll achieve a muscle-up.

These goals may seem ambitious, but they're all about gradual progress and habit stacking. Each small step is a leap towards greater strength and confidence. πŸ’ͺ

Your health journey might look different from mine, and that's the beauty of it. Whether it's starting a new exercise routine, eating more greens, or simply taking time to breathe and meditate, every step you take is a step towards a healthier you. Remember, it's not about perfection; it's about progress.

As we turn our attention to wealth, I want to share with you my journey and goals for 2024. Wealth isn't just about the numbers in our bank accounts; it's about security, freedom, and the ability to make choices that align with our values and dreams.

A Year of Rebuilding and Growth

2023 was a year of introspection and realignment for me. After a whirlwind 2022, where I made the most money in my life, I faced burnout. I took a step back in 2023, reducing my marketing efforts and consequently, my income. But, every cloud has a silver lining! This shift allowed me to support my husband in his business, leading to a tripling of his income in just three months. πŸš€

Sometime last year…

For 2024, my goal is to rebuild and grow my income steadily. I'm aiming for $5k in Q1, $10k in Q2, $15k in Q3, and $20k in Q4. I believe in my skills and abilities, and I'm committed to learning new ones to increase my income potential. πŸ“ˆ

Emergency Funds: A Cushion for Peace of Mind

One of my key financial goals this year is to build six months of emergency funds. And yes, I'm going old school – cash under the mattress style! There's something reassuring about having that physical buffer. It's a safety net, providing peace of mind and stability. πŸ›ŒπŸ’΅

Dreaming Big: Our Earthship Project

Dreams fuel our journey, and one of mine is to build an Earthship – a self-sustainable home where we can grow our own food, collect our own water, and produce our own electricity. This project is close to my heart as it aligns with my values of sustainability and independence. 🌱🏑

One of the most exciting and heartfelt goals for us this year is the hope of welcoming a new member to our family. As we lay the foundation of our Earthship, our self-sustainable dream home, we also hope to lay the foundation for a new life. We plan to start trying for another baby, with the dream of bringing this new joy into our lives before we move into our new home. 🍼🏑

Building a Life Across Borders

Love knows no boundaries, and this year, we're taking steps to ensure our family remains united, no matter what the world throws at us. We're working on securing my husband's permanent residence in the Philippines and my permanent residence in Canada. This isn't just about paperwork; it's about building a safety net for our family, ensuring that we have a Plan B and that we're never forced to be apart. πŸŒπŸ’‘

Reuniting and Creating Memories

Family is everything, and this year, we're planning something special. We hope to either sponsor my husband's family to visit us in the Philippines or plan a trip to Canada towards the end of the year. While building our earthship is our top priority, reuniting with family and creating lasting memories is just as important.

Malaya hasn’t met any of her family from Canada since she was born. So, it will be really special to finally meet my husband’s family back in Canada. It's these moments that remind us of the love that binds us, no matter the distance. βœˆοΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

In May, we're aiming to explore the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of Vietnam. September will find us in the serene and beautiful Bali, soaking in the sun and the rich culture. And by the end of the year, we plan to visit Canada, a trip that's sure to be filled with heartwarming family moments and breathtaking scenery. 🌏✈️

Unplugging and Reconnecting with Nature

In our digital world, it's easy to forget the simple joy of being in nature. This year, we're dedicating weekends to no-device time, focusing on hiking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors. These moments allow us to disconnect from the online world and reconnect with each other and the beauty around us.   • Schedule these steps. Whether it's daily, weekly, or monthly, having a timeline helps keep you on track.

  • One of the reasons why I shared my 2024 goals in this email is accountability. Publicly announcing these goals with you will help me be accountable for working towards them (and of course keeping you updated).
