But you need to know what you’re doing when you are stock picking, as this can go horribly wrong if you are just gambling away your money and not doing proper research on the companies you are investing in.

Bonds 🤝 

For a safer route, bonds are like the dependable rice in our meals – essential and stable. Bonds are basically you giving your money to institutions like the government. These institutions will lend out your money at an interest. The interest they will earn will be split to you for lending them the money to lend to other people. As the inflation rate and interest rates go up, the return on investment also goes up.

Mutual Funds 🤼 

If you're unsure where to start, mutual funds are a great option. They're like a well-balanced meal, offering a mix of different investments managed by professionals. You still have to be picky on which mutual fund to choose from because sometimes, they have a hefty fee which could eat away from your investment growths.

Real Estate 🏘️ 

Investing in property can be as rewarding as building your family home. It's a tangible asset that can provide stability and growth. This is one of my favorite ways to invest because you can see an actual item. But, just like any other investment, you need to be educated so you know what you are doing. I’ve lost a lot of money on bad real estate but I also grew my net worth because of real estate.

These are shares in companies that pay out a portion of their profits to shareholders regularly, typically quarterly. Think of it as a company saying "thank you" for investing with them, by giving you a small share of their earnings.

It's like getting a little bonus for your investment, which can be reinvested or used as additional income.
